Hi, welcome to tenforums. Eudora development stopped in around 2006, it seems, as I guess you know. Mentioned in the context of Windows 95/98, /which I recall using... so not intended.
Here's a question that has to do with the times. A friend wants to know if they can install Eudora 6.1.2 over Eudora 7.1 without losing any email. It seems to be the only way (maybe) of.
Understanding the Context
I was hoping Eudora could remain my client, but no go. The one thing required is the ability to set the incoming and outgoing ports, and Eudora lacks that capability, so it's either stay with.
The upgrade went fine, and Eudora 7.1 works fine under it from all I can tell. Perhaps this is because I installed Eudora to its own folder c:\EUDORA and nowhere else. Other advice I have.
